"Haha threaten a cub like i would just giving some tips that all." I meowed to the female ocelot. Then I walked up to the cub and licked him on the head "You be good I give you my blessing to be safe and stay safe." I look up at the male lion with my eyes saying I dare you to do somehting. "Allie bring in the food" I meowed and the cheetah brought in a deer. "Eat all of you eat please" I meow and sit back. "You can go Allie all is under controll" I meow then whisper "But stay close."

The female feline wrinkled her nose, but bared no teeth. Her eyes flamed with hate for this male ocelot. Kauneus looked at Solomon, her eyes eased with love, he was adorable. Her heart melted as she looked at his big eyes. Kauneus couldn't help but smile. Then she heard the pride leader order food from a larger slender female. She dropped a deer. Kauneus didn't step close to the deer. She turned her head away, but her eyes stayed locked, glued to the pride leader. He seemed untrustworthy. The female's tail swung behind her. Her ears pointed in certain directions of voices and noises.

Kauneus remembered the male ocelot's words. She glared at him... "You did threaten him! I can't believe it, you're a pride leader?!" Kauneus felt her nose wrinkled and her front teeth bare slightly. She forbid her mouth from saying much else, before she would regret it. The angry ocelot stepped back, away from the deer and the pride leader. Kauneus looked at the father tiger, but looked away, her tail held low. She began to think. Maybe since he doesn't know me much... what if he gets angry at me... Kauneus frowned. But still looked at the male ocelot.

I felt my posture tense with the male's words, but gentle again with the female's. Again I glimmered guarded gratitude, even daring to share a smile with her. But, though I shared kindness with her, a new friend in a sense, my gaze remained hard set on the enemy. Even when he brought forth a deer, I made no move forward. If Solomon wished to eat some, he would devour the fish I had caught for him. I could go much longer without food.

"I will not take food from your pride, alpha male. But know this, it is not out of respect for you that keeps my feet planted here and away from the food, it is out of pure disgust. My son has been hurt by your words, and you dare show affection by licking his head? He may be a cub, but you can not buy back child innocence. Once it is lost, it must be earned, just like trust with an adult. My son does not need your useless tips, or your empty acts of love. And we," I flicked my tail not only to Solomon and I, but to the other ocelot as well, "have no need for your undesired hospitality. If this ocelot female needs food and is unable to get her own, I will get it for her. My actions are based off love for Solomon, and those who return his carefree joy with smiles of love, will recieve devotion from me. You, however, showed a much more negative reaction, one which I will not tolerate at all."

I turned then to face Kauneus, eyes showering my graitude upon her. "Solomon, the fish is yours." I spoke without glancing at him, and caught his movement towards the catch out of my peripheral vision. Then, I refocused upon the female. "Thank you for showing kindness towards Solomon, miss. He knows not the pleasure a female can present. The only woman he has met have not been highly worthy of respect. So I am in your debt for showing him that not all girls act so lowly."

My eyes narrow then a question pops in my head "Who's side you on Zonta or Akando and Ende?" I meowed. "Fools you will be wrong to not take my offer from me! I am a pride leader because I have proved myself worthy!" I growl. "Keep the food. But here is a warning an evil has been moving though these lands and he a lion unlike any other..." I sit there waiting for an answer from the two felines.

Kauneus' gaze looked at David, he stood, he seemed untouchable. His gaze was locked on the pride leader. The pride leader glared as well, they both looked at each other. With hatred. Kauneus' eyes returned looking at the pride leader. She stared at the male ocelot, but listened, oh so carefully to David. His words were powerful-- very powerful.

As his speech came to an end, Kauneus then looked at him. As he looked at her. And spoke of thanks for the things Kauneus did-- show kindness. Kauneus smiled at him as he thanked. Her eyes lighten, her body no longer as tense.

Kauneus nodded, "Thanks, I love cubs..." Kauneus looked at Solomon, eating the fish his father had snatched up for him. Kauneus then looked at the male ocelot, who spoke up. He called them fools for not accepting an offer... Kauneus thought nothing more of him but being a fool. Kauneus had to roll her eyes, and slightly shake her head.

My son now fed off the medium sized fish I had captured for him, hungry, though pleasure not yet back in his gaze. At the female's thanks, I gave a tiger-like purr, showing I heard her words and accepted them in warmth. Though I was not always a pleasant tom to be around, I did appreciate those who gave respect to my only beloved; Solomon.

The pleasure sank as the male spoke again, and I turned my gaze back to him. He spoke of sides, and I began to wonder if this male was not entirely there, mentally. "Sides? I do not even know what Zonta, Akando, or Ende are! And as for this lion threat, I do not concern myself with petty nonsense. Those Murder Ape slave dogs are the only who concern me, and when it is only my son and I, it is easy to go undetected by them." I looked away, not pleased with my own disgust for this male. "You are no worthy leader, sir, for that I am sure. You have claimed a land and those too weak to fight you off have joined. But be warned, you will be killed by another who desires that land. I do not understand why an Ocelot would run a pride. I have respect for those outside my own species, but one so small should not take the lives of so many into their paws." My look turned back to him, now thick with disgusted sorrow. "If those of your pride die because you're too weak to lead them, how could you live with yourself?"

"My Dear friend that is where you are wrong. I do not have this leadership my self I have the backing of my pride and they will not die! I am not stuid to put them in a dangerous situation..." near the end my voice got lower. Then I think: The battle is dangerous maybe I should back out....but if Zonta falls that mean we are next that is why I must stick to what I have picked. My tail starts lashing, I am getting anger! "YOU have no right to dout my leadership!" I growled. Hearing my growl Allie comes out behind me followed by Brandii they fan out behind me. I narrow my eyes "Foolish lion I will never be alone!" I growled.

My posture tenses defensivly in front of my son as two more appear. My eyes roll as he calls me a lion. "I am a tiger, foolish Ocelot. Though I am sure that was simply a mistake of the tongue, it is small things like that that will kill your pride." I then bring my head higher, tail rising above the curve of my back. A small hiss comes from behind me and I understand Solomon is not appreciating the tension in the air, but it is not I who desired to fight. For once.

"And I do have a right to doubt your leadership, sir. I have every right to do so. This land, here, is a free land. And even if it was not, I could believe as I wish. But it is a free land, so I may speak my doubts without fear of persecution. You dare question my rights, and I will take it as a threat."

Kauneus' tail lashed in all of this excitement. The anger rose intensely. She glanced at the pride leader. He was glaring at David, David stared, his gaze very serious. The leader spoke that David had no right to believe in what he thought of the male ocelot, and the ocelot simply called him a lion... David was obviously not a lion. He was bigger than a lion, no mane, and he had stripes. How could someone mistake him for a tiger. Possibly it was a mistake of the tongue, just like what David said. Kauneus saw two other cats come up from behind the ocelot. If they attacked, Kauneus knew what would happen; David could easily knock them all out, and kill them if he wanted to. And Kauneus would make sure no one came over to Solomon...

Kauneus listened to their arguing. David-- saying that he did have the right to think the ocelot was a bad leader, and he did have the right. Kauneus agreed with every words that came from David's mouth. And disagreed with the male ocelot. Kauneus looked at the others cats behind the pride leader, and heart a hiss. She turned her head and looked at Solomon. Kauneus smirked, but it went away as this situation became more intense.

"My mistake tiger but take that as a threat; I can kick you out!" growled Iyche. 'And it will not be hard' I thought. With a flick of my tail Brandii started to circle the tiger watching him very closly, while Allie Stepped in front of me. "Anyone feel free to join" I snarled.

[Bhu]

My eyes followed the one the ruler had caused to move forward, keeping close tabs on her distance from Solomon. Without even looking to the alpha, I spoke to him, dismissing him from being a threat. I believed none of these cats to be a threat to me, and I knew they'd be foolish to try. However, the one who circled was a significant threat to Solomon, and this I simply could not allow.

"You have too much confidence." I remarked, speaking to Iytche while continuing to glare at the circling female. "Far too much confidence than is safe you and your pride." I paused, watching the gap between my son and me seemingly get larger. My boy was no longer eating, but watching the threat with unease, his back arched defensively and eyes showing the first hint of fear. "I wish for no blood to spill, Iytche, but your female being in such proximity to my boy is making it very hard for me to keep my fangs in their place. And her circling is very unwise. Ever been told not to come between a mama and her cubs? Well, same rule applies for a single dad and his son."

It was only then I put a mild action to my deep, threatening tone. I faced the circling female with my full attention, a loud hiss escaping my open maw. My lips pulled back into a snarl and I unsheathed my claws. "You have your own mind, female, so I suggest you don't listen to your foolish master. I do not wish to end your life, nor anyones, but you are now in the dangerous position of being between Solomon and myself. Nothing stands between us an lives, so step away." My tail tip flicked and I chanced a single look towards Kauneus, eyes reading that she was on my side in the situation. Looking back to the direction of Solomon, a growled a deep warning and peaked around the shecats form. "Solomon, come. Do not fear her. She dares make a single fur move towards you, and I won't hesitate to kill." Looking to Iytche and the female, I snarled a continued threat. "Let my boy come to me and I will put away my weapons. But again I say, one single hear blows off you," I looked directly at the female between Solomon and I, "and you will never take another breath again."

Remembering my friend, I flicked my tail only dully towards her. "Be wise, for I see our friend is wise and has realized I am the one to speak truth amongst us. She, from what I've gathered, has a kind heart and will defend my son." I dared a quick glance in her direction, hoping my assumption was right.

Brandii looks at Iyche and he nods. She darts jumping the tiger and Iytche Bolt for his son. "This is over you fool" snarled Iytche before he jumped.
