When one is hurt badly enough they change. There soul slips from them and there fury takes over. A caotic mess is left in them, as they try to sort wrong from right. And to many times evil destroys the goodness of a once pure soul... Small paws slapped the dirt in slow succesion. Claws dug into the ground. The sun burned down on the animal's spooted coat. The coat couldn't be called spotted, the spots were far to large. They made brownish tan blotches on an other wise tawny hide. The leopard sized animal would be hard to destiquish from others of its kind. But he was diffrent. For a clouded leopard he was small. His tail was overly long and his pelt was crazily untamed. Wicked black eyes tore across the open burning plane he moved across.
Drakel found it harder and harder to ignore the beating sun. His pelt would be soaked in sweat if that was at all possible. For now his maw hung open ,panting heavily. His evil orbs dug every rabbit and shrew from its hole, it seemed to burn threw the very ground and terrorize the animals as they slepted. Drakel let out a low hiss. Fury burned deep in his heart, and furyknows few outlets. He ripped his claws into the ground again as he paused in his trotting. Ears back, pressed against his skull in a cruel way, his lips pulled back into a perpetual snarl. Bah! Let any weaker than the sun trespass on his bieng and live to tell the tale! [/size]

"Aw, cat, what a dream."
Azibo rolled onto his back and looked up into the afternoon sun, then squinted and lifted a paw to shield his eyes. He rolled back to his stomach and began grooming his right paw, trying to recall the quickly fading images from his sleep a few minutes ago. He vaguely remembered that it involved a very pretty lioness from his old pride, but the best parts were already out of his reach. He growled softly in disappointment.
His ears swiveled, catching the sound of pawsteps before he realized what he was hearing. His eyes shifted up and to the left to get a glimpse of the oncoming beast, then they widened as his head followed the direction of his gaze. Kimoni?
No, not Kimoni. It didn't look anything like Kimoni, but anything that looked remotely like a leopard always reminded Azibo of his "bro." This cat was too small, and his spots were much too big. And the look in his eyes was one he couldn't imagine Kimoni ever wearing. It was too hot to be hunting, and the leopard's noisy steps confirmed he wasn't trying to be stealthy, but there was only one other reason for carrying himself the way he did.
Azibo flopped back onto his right side, letting every muscle relax against the ground. He watched silently until he was pretty sure the cat was within earshot, then lifted just his head to shout to the beast. "What up, cat? Why the sour face? Something bite your tail?"

Drakel looked at the lion slowly. His black eyes cold. Damn the kind hearted. Drakel thought to himself, the words were lost in the evil black tangles in his head. He knew he wasn't any better than the murder apes but than, who wasn't? They all killed. They all had to kill to live. It was the way of the world. The clouded leopard paused in his walking. His curved claws slid slowly back into the shelths. "Good evening" Drakel said in his snake like murmur. He tried to act normaly, it just didn't work. He pulled the snarl off his face (barley) to give the lion a look of amusment (if a half glare can be considered amused) "The world is a harsh place, isn't it?" he said crypticly looking at the lion closley.

Azibo stretched and rose to a seated position, the tip of his tail twitching lazily. "I like to think it's misunderstood," he answered, with a grin.
It was obvious this cat had a darker outlook than the lion. That was usual. Everyone seemed to get bummed out and weighed down by whatever bothered them. Azibo didn't see the point in taking time to be bothered by what he didn't like. He preferred to ignore life's little pains and focus on how good it felt to be living. If life wanted to be a brat, let it. He didn't have to babysit.

Drakel nodded curtly. "The world can be quite misunderstood." He said. His black souless eyes ravaged across the lion's face. Im mean look at me. Drakel thought. He snorted. The cloud leopard slowly sat back on his haunches, it almost looked like he was in pain. But than wasn't he? Wasn't he always in pain. His claws burned, they wanted to dig into somthing...

Azibo picked up a shift in the expression on the other cat's face. Was that a glare? The clouded leopard had been scowling ever since the lion had first seen him, but now his dark gaze seemed to intensify, and it was directed in Azibo's direction.
The splotched cat snorted and seated himself. Yep, Azibo was definitely picking up an annoyed vibe. Slowly, a smile crept up one side of the lion's face. So the clouded didn't actually want to talk to him after all? Well, he could have fun with this. "So, do you live around here? I'm pretty new to the area. It would be great to learn the terra from a local." One eye closed in a wink and he extended his right paw in a swift, smooth motion as if to bump the leopard with the back of it, although they were seated far enough that there were a couple feet between the paw and its target before he planted it back on the ground.
