The dreams have been sent out, each Peace Leader knows the "plan". They must all gather near the northern border of Akando pridelands at midnight. It is from there that they'll decide how to go about the buisness of saving the cats that are pure of heart.
But Dio can only helplessly watch as a storm begins to brew. First is the weather, with it's wildly hot and dry predictions. His favorite pride, Zonta, will be the only lands that continue to have a supply of water, though it won't be much. Once Akando discovers this, it will only increase the liklihood of war. Could that lead to the end of Dio's beloved Zonta pride?
Then something more perilous is on the horizon. The Murder Apes are beginning to get anxious, having so many wildcats living on their lands. They fear allowing their children to run free, and even fear having trained adults with guns out in the woods. Too many have been mauled by the big cats, so many families shattered.
Therefore, the Murder Ape scientists have been genticly experimenting with different canine genes. They have mixed many together, looking for the biggest, meanest, and strongest combination. And they've found it.
The species has been named Folami, which means "respect and honor me", for that is what this canine demands. It's size is as large as a full grown male lion, it's strength like a male tiger. And what's worse, they travel in packs. Individually, they're dangerous; together, they're almost indestructable.
The Murder Apes have trained them to hold a deep lust for big cat blood, and released them into the forest. These dogs can speak only the language of the big cats, for they have gained no personal language. Their goal is to wipe out the big cats, and Dio understands that they will succeed in doing so if the Peace Leaders are not able to get all cats to join together.
Will the Murder Ape's slave dogs soon rule the lands beside their two legged masters? Or will the Peace Leaders get together and teach everything in time?
