Her slender body agilely moved throughout the foliage. Her ears swiveling back and forth like miniature radars. She was looking out for some kind of prey. Anything that would satisfy her quench for blood and flesh. She was hungry and there was no doubting that. She tasted the air and finally a scent was found. That of white tailed doe and maybe that of a fawn. It was old but if she followed the trail she might be able to track them down.
Donoma quickly trotted forward, following the trail deeper and deeper into the dark lush forest until finally there was a break in the land and on the opposite side of a slow flowing river was the doe and her fawn. In the brush she crouched, ready to lunge forward and plow through the water. The fawn was her main target.

A walk; a nice walk, for no real reason. Arvin walked slowly-- very lazy-- through the depths of the forest, in the centrals lands. This forest was amazing, so much lush green plants, and so much prey-- big and small. Arvin was happy here, he had met those two leopards. But not much spark rose between them. Not even a spark of friendship. They just asked questions... that's all.
Arvin's ears were perked, his tail swung back and forth. His shoulder blades popped over his back with every step-- that's because his head was low. Just as a cheetah walks. Arvin heard a rush of water; a river. His senses told him to head forward-- towards the water. He decided to listen to them. So he wnt forth. Just before he came out of the bushes, just slightly ahead of him was a female caracal. A female caracal. Arvin had seen caracals in the safari back in Africa, he knew one when he saw one. Arvin was bigger than this female though...
Across the river was a mother doe and her fawn. A caracal was going for a fawn? The fawn was at least her size, maybe sligtly bigger.

She prowled closer until the slow moving water was just a few lengths in front of her. Gathering herself up and prowling forward. She bolted forward, splashing through the water like a clumsy young ling. Her great leaps sent her lurching forward. The spooked white tailed deer quickly bounded into the woods. The caracal hot on the trails.
She leaped, hooking a blow to the fawn leaving a long gash on its rump. But it stumbled away its mother leading it deeper into the woods before they were completely out of site. Donoma pricked her ears and looked down at the ground. Angrily she swiped the tree out of frustration and headed back to the river and sat on the rocky shore. Another meal lost.

OOC ~ Um.... a caracal most likely wouldn't be able to take down a fawn by itself... a newborn fawn is about the size of your character, there's no way a caracal can do that.
And besides, caracals eat small rodents, birds, and fish.
Rarely they go for antelope, and in this case the fawn. But chances of taking it down that quickly without attempts to bring it down by itself, is not likely.

Arvin watched the female caracal... she leaped into the river and bounded towards the mother doe and her fawn. The adult deer frolicked off. The fawn was caught, wounded, then lost.
The caracal didn't get the fawn. It would have been nearly impossible anyway. Arvin stood in the bushes watching. He stood up and began walking, silently to the female. "Ya know, it's best if felines our size and smaller go for birds, fish, and small rodents." He grinned at her. A flirty look in his eye. He stood before this female. His ears perked. His tail swishing eagerly.
