....once you've lost everything.... ....you cant fall any lower.... Threw the soft high grases a young animal moved. The medow was odd. It wasn't anything like the Cheetah's old home. Sheng moved slowly. Her paws dragging. The tan splotched pelt didn't stick out, as you would expect black to. In fact it made it harder to stare at her. The she-cat moved forward her head spinning. It had been too long sence her last meal. Sniffing, Sheng let her jaws part, pulling the scents over her scent reseptors.
Fox? Could she pull down the animal? Sure. Sheng stalked toward the smell. There was no way the russet animal she spotted now would fill her belly, but hey. A meals' a meal. The cheetah let out an impressive burst of speed. The russet and white canine shreiked in horro, and tried to run. To no avail. The fox was on the ground pinned under Sheng's paws in an instant. Tearing into it the she-cheeath didn't give it a chance to die first.

.:Bhuvana:. And it all crashes D O W N
A creature gave a mild shriek as the stealthy female took down the fox she'd been watching. The large cat come out of nowhere and simply killed the other carnivour without a second thought. The fox wasn't even fully dead before the black splotched cat began to ingest it.
Bhuvana sneared in disgust, her shock draining. Never had she killed a healthy creature. Part because her size and lack of skill due to age but also because she'd rather end the suffering of a sickly or injured.
"You sicken me." Bhuvana found herself appearing, voice harsh, beside the large cat and her kill before a thought could pass. Even as fear pricked her paws at what'd she'd just done, Bhuvana kept a level and hostile stare on the large cat. Never would she end the fight for the rights of all, simply because her life be in danger.

Sheng completly ignored the new cat. An ocelot as she scarfed the rest of her meal. Licking what was left on her whiskers the cheetah turned to the much smaller cat. "You arn't alone" she growled thoughtfuly. "I dont care by the way, im too use to cats hating me" she murmured harshly sitting back on her haunches. With a snort Sheng licked at her forpaws. Sheng looked up over the tan splayed paw. Cheetah's calws are always extended. "What do you want, Ocelot?"

Bhuvana's eyes narrowed further with the words. "What I want to know is how someone could kill a creature who has so much life? You are no better then the Murder Apes!" These were unwise words, that Bhuvana knew. But she felt so many fury at the moment, she didn't care. She had never met another cat that had been stolen from their far away home, except the loner that'd told her the truth about her blood. As far as she had been concerned, all the ones stolen shared her view of peace.

((Mind if I join in?))
A large cat with a dappled coat was slung over a tree branch, laying in the shade where it was cooler and easier to rest. She was on the edge of a meadow, and it had been quiet for a while. Suddenly a loud cry of pain rang out, and Alia jumped in surprise. Her heart beat slowed down after a moment, and her golden eyes scanned the meadow. She saw a cheetah eating a kill, which must've been the source of noise.
Alia watched with little interest, but her attention was caught when she saw a much smaller cat, an ocelot, approach. Alia's ears angled forward, her gaze intent on the scene before her. She couldn't make out clear words, but it appeared the two cats were fighting over something. Alia remained hidden where she was, not wanting to intervene. If she did, it wouldn't be now. [/size]

Sheng snorted staring at the ocelot. Licking her lips and whiskers. Pulling the last taste of fox off her fur. "Why is it any better to kill a weaker animal? No matter what you do, no matter what you tell yourself, your still killing" she grunted blinking.
The cheetah snarled slightly curling her lips. "And I dont have to explain myself to you" she hissed stalking toward the wood, her tawny pelt rippling with anger.

Bhuvana cuffed the ground, hitting a rock away angrily. "That may be true, but when one is sick or injured, the earth will claim them on its own. By us killing them, we lift their suffering away." she answered cooly, keeping her temper under control. Realizing she was staring at the rock she had kicked, she flicked her gaze back to the stranger. If the female would murder a lively fox, surely she wouldn't hesitate a mere Ocelot cub.
As the big cat spoke that she didn't have to explain herself to the little cat, Bhuvana cursed quietly. "No, you don't." she admited tightly. "But I have the right to curse your name. The Sun God would be displeased." she spat the words out. A thought came to mind at that moment though. Have my teachings mislead me? Is this how most big cats dine, off the flesh of healthy animals? Am I the odd one out here?

"Curse my name? Than perhapse you should know my name." The cheetah hissed evily glaring at the ocelot over her shoulder. "I am Sheng. Dughter of thoes whom know no way other than betrayal. Dughter of the kin with only there own lives in there eyes. I am the Calamity that shall ruin others lives." she snarled. "So it has been. So it shall always be"
With a cruel snarl she lurched backwards landing dead infront od the ocelot she growled harshly. "I am the way I am. You are as you are. You may curse me, nut know you are not the first." she growled. "I have been hated and cursed my entire life. Scense my birth cats have cursed my name. I am only a welp with no life to lead" The cheetah flicked her tail at the ocelot as she turned, waiting to feel the thick black fur of her tial tip wip across the much smaller cat's muzzle.

Bhuvana hissed in frustration. "So that's how it is? You're a follower? Try leading your own life, Sheng. Just because your family were worthless fools, doesn't mean you have to be." the cat spoke with a cold tone and with wisdom beyond her years, it seemed. But she was only speaking from the heart, which is something few youngsters are willing to do. As the tail wiped across her muzzle, a snarl escaped and she parted her jaws. Clamping them shut at the, hopefully, right moment, she wished to dig her canines into the felines tail flesh. Bhuvana had never wanted to cause harm to another before, but this female was tempting her to allow her Ocelot instincts to come forward.

Sheng hissed when teeth dug into her tail. Her unretractable claws ripped into the ground. "Follower? sometimes its impossible to escape your past, ocelot." Sheng mewed sadly, for once revealing her sad, water logged heart. She let her tail go limp, her claws undug themselves. "I apologize if I seem cruel or evil to you, little one" she sighed. "But Ive been hurt too deeply. I cant seem to find my heart anymore. All I see is blackness" The cheetah snorted. "I cant believe im telling you this" she hissed, slashing out with a back paw, in an attempt to claw the ocelot off her tail.
In Sheng's mind a revolt was building. She depseratly wanted to know someone to get to a point to have a friend. But her memories burned the pain of betrayal into her heart. Blackness is hard to pierce. Even white light is tinted gray...

Bhuvana dodged the (always)unsheathed paw, releasing her grip on the tail while she did so. Her eyes dropped as the female spoke. "Well, believe it Sheng. You told me, and I thank you. I now understand you a little better." she then looked back up, meeting the gaze of the adult. "But even here, as you bring saddness forward, you are showing a piece of your heart. The shield has been weakened." a gentle smile crossed her maw, hoping reasurrment for the cheetah. A thought came to mind. "How rude am I? I know your name, but you don't know mine." she dipped her head as she spoke further. "My name is Bhuvana and I apologize for biting your tail. That was disrespectful of me." her voice was truly sorrowful and apologetic at that.

Alia watched the two felines interact, seeming to get more and more frustrated with each other. When the ocelot bit the cheetah's tail, Alia growled under her breath. She stood up and jumped down from the tree branch, landing neatly on her paws.
The leopard walked lithely towards the cats, her sense alert so she wouldn't be caught by surprise, so that Alia would be the one surprising the bickering felines. Alia pushed through some grass and came into view of the cats, who now seemed calmed down a little. How much can happen in so little time...

Ears perking, the ocelot tensed slightly once more. A figure was moving towards the couplet, pawsteps heavy so larger then both Ocelot and Cheetah. She turned her orbs from the female, trying to decide which direction the creature was approaching from.
Then her eyes laid upon the large feline. It was a jaguar and a female at that. She was hesitant, not willing to be the first to speak. Her squabble with the Cheetah had been enough attack for one day. This time she let the oponent make the first move, whether physical or verbal. Body still tense, her orbs locked onto the large feline.

Alia's golden orbs grew wide as she realized she should probably be speaking. She hesitated, but then a newfound strength seemed to come from within and she spoke without a stutter or swagger in her voice. "Sorry to intrude, but I thought there might be trouble over here. I hope you two worked it all out."
The leopard debated whether or not to back out now after apologizing, but she remained where she was. She had been deprived of companionship for many days, and it felt good to be in the presence of others, even though they weren't the same species as her, they were still felines.

Sheng's eyes narrowed. Too many cats. Too much. It was just too much. The cheetah backed away hastily, till she was well out of striking or pouncing rang for eather of the others. Pressing her strong legs against each other she prepared to dart if that was what it came too.
Her heart felt like shattering, though. Listening to Bhuvana's words... they hurt, the truly did. And now Sheng felt like she was tearing into two peices. Her heart was a ball of ice in her chest. "I lost my heart a long time ago, Bhuvana" she hissed coldly. Her eyes flickered around the clearing. Find away out. Find away out. Run away again. Sheng hissed ripping at the ground with her claws. "I wont ever run again" she muttered to herself. "Never again" Pulling her legs forward, forcing them to move she walked up to the jaguar. "We have setled the argument. Im leaving now" she announced stalking toward the forest, her tail whipping.
