Bhuvanas orbs danced to the Cheetah, a frown appearing on her maw. Why'd she have to leave? She found heself bounding to be beside the adult, her tail low and submissive. "If you must leave, then I won't stop you. But I would rather you stay..." looking to the jaguar, she gave a warm smile. "I am not usually one for harsh words, so never will an argument involving me live to long or strongly." she gave a friendly grin before turning back to the Cheetah. "And I do not believe your heart has been lost, Sheng. Perhaps hidden, but not lost."

Sheng sighed softly. Her brown orbs slowly closed. "i hope your right, little hunter" Sheng slowly shook her head. The cheetah turned to the Ocelot. She sat back on her haunches, raised a paw and traced the black marks slipping down her muzzle. " You see this mark, Bhuvana? It is the true cheetah's mark. For you see, a cheetah's tears never stop flowing. There are many legends. How we cry for the ruined world. My favorite is the little lost cheetah cub, caught in a man trap, crying her pelt black as she tried to escape. Blood spattered her fur giving her her spots. That is how cheetah's became spotted. We are the children of betrayal. And we always will be." Sheng said slowly, explaing.
"And some of us cant get past your hearts, so full they are with ate and pain and the fury of broken ancestors" she murmured, staring at her clawed paws.

Alia listened to Sheng's story with muted disapproval. "Just because there are legends like that doesn't mean you have to live up to them. There is a such thing as a happy cheetah. I've met one, he was quite a goofball actually." The leopard grinned, thinking of the random cat she had known. Though she smiled, her eyes still held concern for the troubled cheetah.

Bhuvana's orbs dropped, then looked to her own spots. Were there such legends for her own kind? Shaking her head, unsure, she looked back to the two. Bhuvana was a fighter, for sure, but her age often made her impressionable. Maybe the cheetah was the one who was right. Perhaps the war was not worth the pain.
"Maybe you're right." she finally spoke, indicating she was acknowledging Sheng's words. "And perhaps Cheetah's are not the only ones who should live in such hurt." her eyes then hardened, a fire within them. "But then again, maybe she's right." flicking her tail towards the jaguar.
"And then still, perhaps neither is. Whatever the story, or legends, I think our fates are laid out for us. Maybe some are depressed and some are happy for a reason. Maybe it has nothing to do with what our species is. Even a mouse, who is eaten by all, has the ability to feel content. I guess even a cat, such as ourselves, whom is respected by most, has the ability to be betrayed." her eyes lingered, not sure which side to believe.
"I just don't know anymore. I was so sure of everything before, but even since my escape from Murder Apes, life has changed so much."

Sheng smiled softly at the jaguar. "I am glad there is such a thing as a happy cat now a days" she mewed, twiching her tail. Sheng looked to Bhuvana. "You must find your own way, little warrior. I had my path snatched from me before I was born, but you..." Sheng looked at the two felines. "You have your choice. You have the right to pick your own thoughts" The cheetah dipped her head and closed her worried brown orbs. " Maybe it will lead you to greatness... but than perhapse it will lead you into your grave" that was Sheng, her and her wonderful pep talks.

Alia's teeth were clenched as she listened to the pessimistic cats. She shook her head, "You guys need to brighten up, the world's not coming to an end." She realized what she said wasn't very to the point, but she had no idea what to say. This was just the beginning of her pacifist ways. "I'm Alia, by the way."
The last words made Alec's ears perk up. His round orbs scanned the meadow around him, but because of his small size, he couldn't see much over the long grass. Using his keen senses, the ocelot crept towards the voices, doing his best to keep his presence unknown.
At last he could make out three feline shapes in the grass ahead of him. Alec paused, crouching lower to stay unseen. He wouldn't intrude now, but when he thought the time was right.

Bhuvana let her smile grow once more. "You're right Alia." she then realized she didn't know if she introduced herself yet. "Sorry if I am repeteing myself, but I am Bhuvana, a strong follower of the light and the almighty Dio (higher power)." she dipped her head to both the adults, the looked to Sheng. "Dio will not let the world fall to sorrow, or to anything for that matter. You have to believe in him, Sheng, he will guide us to the light." she gave the gentle reasurrment before tensing.
Scenting the air, she caught wind of a male cat, species and age unknown. Her pausing only lasted a small moment, a playful wave washing over her. Something told her to fall into a crouch and creep towards the taller grasses. Her hindquarters wiggled like a kit before she pounced into the brush. She had nothing but instinct to tell her where to land, but she let that lead her.
OOC//: you can decide whether she actually lands on Alec or not, Miki =)

((Lol, okay.))
Alia smiled appreciatively at Bhuvana's introduction. The leopard herself had heard of Dio, but she never had learned too much about the higher being. Alia was interested and was going to ask after the cheetah made her introduction. But before any cat could speak, Bhuvana suddenly crouched and sprang at something unknown.
Alec was concentrating more on the conversation than the shapes in front of him. The ocelot barely registered the smallest feline crouch and spring towards him. He let out a yowl of surprise as the cat landed on his shoulders, knocking him to the ground.

Bhuvana gave a shrill mew of joyous laughter as she made contact with the being. To her pleasure, the creature was not much larger then herself, and shared her physical appearance with only minor differences in spot patterns and muscle arrangment.
Using the form as a spring board, she leapt off him and a few bounds away before he could regain himself and make a counter attack. She had been attacking in a playful manner, but how would this male know? She had to be sure her curious and peaceful intentions were known. Even with her wish to be friendly so apparant in her gaze, she couldn't help but let a little teasing tone into her voice. "Sorry I scared you." she mewed, tail tip flicking and eyes narrowing in playfully cruel joy.

Sheng watched in dull annoyance. She snorted. Her heart was broken, her blood leaked to the ground. A cheetah's tears never stop flowing. They never do... No higher power was watching over her. Sheng knew that. There was no such thing as god, or Dio or any of these other fickle unseeable untrustable biengs. Sheng had learned that the hard way. Over an over....
To many times.
ooc:// 0.o she sounds like me in this one >> << I never relized I was so pessimistic.... xD

Alec got to his feet and let out a small snort. He shook the dust of his pelt, looking up at the other ocelot. "You didn't scare me, just caught me by surprise." Alec retorted, but for some reason he sounded teasing. If the attack had been completely unexpected, as if Alec hadn't seen the other cats at all, the ocelot probably would've been defensive and angry. But because he knew they were already there and speaking on friendly terms, Alec didn't feel as if he were in any danger.
Alia giggled in amusement as Bhuvana tackled another cat. She heard the male ocelot's response, before glancing back at the cheetah to see how she had reacted to the newcomer. She looked unamused and slightly upset. Alia took a step closer, her brown eyes warm but worried. "Are you alright?"

Bhuvana would have had her smile cease and orbs narrow at the males responce if she had not caught that teasing tone. Of course she didn't expect any cat, especially a male, to admit to being frightened. Besides, the small group had been loud enough; this male had probably been aware of their presence, just not her sneaking up to him.
"Yeah yeah, sure." she responded as if it were a simple sibling argument. Turning away, she bounded back into the cleared area just in time to catch Alia's question to Sheng. Looking to the cheetah, she spotted the pained look in her orbs. Her spine tingled in an uncomfortable manner. Those orbs held no light of Dio; the cheetah didn't believe...
Turning to the ocelot, a much more comfortable specamin for her to inspect, her ubbling smile broke forth. "So, I'm Bhuvana, loyal fighter for Dio. How about you, young Peeping Tom?" she spoke in a fast voice, just barely understandable. Her frowns only moments before were now large grins on her maw.
OOC//: I don't think a cat would ever say Peeping Tom, but ah well. I am whicked hyper and he had sorta been spying on them so it fits XD

Alec blinked in mild surprise after the other ocelot bounded back to her friends. Unsure what to do he just followed, and then was addressed again.
"I'm Alec. But I'm not sure about Dio. I've heard of him, but don't know too much about him." He answered, slightly embarrassed, because now the leopard was looking at him in shock.
Alia looked away from the leopard. "Bhuvana, I think we need to teach these two a thing or two about Dio." She said, her voice not angry though. Instead she sounded determined with a slight air of amusement.

Bhuvana's gaze widened as the male admited his minimal knowledge of Dio. Then the leopards suggestion leaked into her ears and she cast a glance between Alec and Sheng. Her pleasant smile faded slightly as her gaze finalized on Sheng. "That would be great! But what does Sheng have to say? We can't force her to believe in something she was taught against." her eyes narrowed slightly and tone grew a bit harsher. "Even if it was Dio who had given his life for our survival, and suffers the same pains we feel both day and night, just so we can have a chance at life."

Alia shook her head, "No, we can't force you the change your beliefs Sheng. But just because that's what you were taught doesn't mean it's true. Would you like to hear the story of Dio from a different view?" The leopard asked kindly, sitting down patiently. She had nowhere to go, nothing to do. There'd be no harm in spreading the truth of Dio.
Alec listened to Bhuvana and the leopard, and when the leopard sat down, he did too. He was going to listen to the story, even if Sheng, the cheetah didn't want to. Alec looked back at the leopard, realizing he hadn't caught her name. But since she was focused on Sheng, he didn't want to interupt. Instead, he leaned towards Bhuvana, so that his muzzle was only an inch or so away from her ear. "What's the leopard's name?" He whispered, not wanting to be embarrassed if caught asking.
