Yesenia looked at the cub with worried eyes. "Are you okay, little one?" she asked sympathetically. Did the poor dear have any mental issues? "Bo, what's wrong?"

Questions. Why did they question? Why not lunge and kill me already? Why didn't they do what I knew they wanted to do? Why make me suffer the wait? End it already!

Lies? Lies have a scent? Really? I stood up slowly and looked to the female who had said those words. The other went on to ask if I was alright, but I stood with my eyes glued to the lie scenting female. "They do? Can you teach me that?" Oh how I'd love to smell lies! To know who's good and who's evil! Oh, how I wish I had known all along! So much pain could have been avoided. Oh, what sweet serenity this could bring.

It didn't occur to me for a few seconds that, since my lies could be scented, I needed to be honest. My head dipped slightly, fear masking the aqua of my orbs. "My parents are dead. I don't have nobody teaching me to be a man. I'm alone." Again I looked to the ground. Surely this news would make me look quite appetizing. I had no adults to protect me. I was surronded; even if I wasn't surronded, my short legs would carry me much slower than the bulk of a tiger could go. I trembled only slightly, ready to die. Maybe even welcoming it.

Then it occured to me. That tigress has nuzzled me with sympathetic affection. And the other lioness, she had had genuine sympathy in her gaze. I couldn't smell lies, but I knew emotions well. I had to. It was the only reason I'd survived. Again I looked up, meeting the gaze of all three tigers. "You were never a threat to me, were you?" My voice was slowly getting calmer, a revelation coming forward. "I would be dead if you intended to harm me. Even now, knowing I have no guardians, I am not in danger." My voice was almost serene as I chuckled in relief. If only I had realized all this sooner. If only I could know for sure it was true...

But they do seem rather kind...
Maybe, just maybe, they'll be my most prized find.

Neptune watched, still laying near the cub. As he cussed at himself and beat himself up. Neptune watched as the others asked questions... and wanted the truth. Bellatrix nuzzled the cub, and Yesenia asked questions. Neptune listened to Bo as he said he's alone... Neptune wanted the cub to feel better, but how? Neptune thought back... "I was never a threat to you, of course not, Bo." Neptune's face was still, and serious. Not angry, but his eyes had a glimpse of happiness in them. "You want someone to teach you to be a man?" he paused, "Being a man doesn't require a teacher... you can have one... but you don't have to," Neptune looked around. "But if does require... you accepting who you are." Neptune glanced at Bo. A smile began to form on Neptune's face.

Neptune got up, not standing, but sitting. Still smiling, as he looked up at the sky. The sun was starting to sink below the mountains.

[Tiger]

"Thank you, Bo," Yesenia said softly, "Thank you for telling the truth." She still had a warm smile, but it made her feel better for the youngling to tell the truth. After all, he was only a cub - and who was she to dare hurt a cub? She was confident Neptune and Bellatrix, at least, felt the same, if not the stranger.

[Bellatrix]

"Little love I will teach you to scent lies," Bellatrix's face turned seriuos."You have to have the nose for it, and it will be hard at first." Her face softened again. She glanced at the others. "I'm even betting that if you ask the others they all have something to teach you."

[Bhu]

So, they'd all teach me something. Bellatrix would teach me how to scent lies. Yesenia seemed to hold morals quite high, so she'd teach me to be civilized. And then Neptune? He offered to teach me how to be a man, though he said I needed to accept who I already was. My nose scrunched and I looked at him, not yet ready to respond to Bellatrix. But I suck! I held back the remark and turned to Bellatrix, face still uneasy, though calming slightly with a change of topics.

"Thank you Ms, um..." I looked to the two females. Had I gotten their names yet? If I had, they escaped me. Perhaps I'd been so worked up over Neptune's name that they'd slipped my mind. "Sorry, really. If you both have given me your names, I seemed to have forgotten them." I looked to my paws sheepishly. "I'm no good at names."

[Tiger]

"That's quite alright. Names can get confusing," Yesenia informed Bo, "But my name is Yesenia and she is Bellatrix." She flicked her tail, laying down. Clearly, she felt relaxed and calm, even calm enough to let a yawn escape. "I go by Sen or Seni most of the time, though."

[Bellatrix]

"Bellatrix is fine by me." She announced to all of them, She rolled slightly and stretched. {b]"Are we gonna sit here all day?"[/b] She asked pushing at Neptune.

Neptune looked at Bellatrix as she rubbed against him. His jaws opened and he yawned. His ears laid against his skull. His eyes closed tightly. As he stopped yawning his ears perked. Neptune saw the moon, and the sun at the same time. On opposite sides of each other. Neptune stood up, and stretched out his hindlegs. "I'm going to bed... if anyone wants to join me, my den is this way." He spoke and began walking.

He approached an old cabin. Hopped on the steps, then onto the porch. He walked through the door and looked around. "Alright, no one is allowed up stairs." Neptune walked at the beginning of the stairs and laid down, so if anyone was to disobey his rule in the middle of the night... He'd wake up.

He laid there, and watched. He was tired, but it may take a minute to get to sleep...

I had a sudden disgust for myself as I stood amoungst these cats. Bellatrix,Yeseni, and Neptune were already an informal family. Who was I to intrude? Neptune invited us all to his quarters, even me, but I leaned towards refussal. Too many sins lay on my shoulders for me to try and hide. No matter what these righteous beings said, I would never be one of them. My soul was locked behind bars of grief, of wrongdoings. I'd conformed to the world, even eating my own siblings fallen bodies just to survive. These worthy felines wouldn't have sank so low, so I shouldn't live a lie and let them wallow in my filth unknowingly. I was not precious Bo anymore, I was a Devil on Dio's guarded earth.

"I musn't stay." My eyes lay downcasted as I took a quiet step back and turned. Satan shouldn't be allowed to acompany a god, nor should his demons assume acceptance amoungst angels. Oh dark Father of mine, take me now. Have these blessed souls see the darkness within me and steal my life so as to save the pleasant light. I surcome to you, Master of cruelty, and I will take my punishment quietly. Just please spare these three before I swallow them into Hell. I don't know why I thought the dark lord would listen and answer a prayer, but it came as no surprise when I did not have three tigers tearing my lips from my bulk. Their kindness remain, and I felt my paws turn back in their direction.

"Well, maybe just one night won't hurt." I gave the remaining females a carefully guarded smile, eyes uneasy by grateful. Who am I ask mercy of the Devil? I gave up such warmth when I swallowed the flesh of my kin. No longer do my prayers go answered, for Satan plays my life for means of his own. Sorrow and apology played my vision and I cast my gaze to the ground before me as I sped after Neptune, trailing his scent.

I am so sorry, Children of Dio. Before the bluejay chirps its morning call, I will betray you.

[Tiger]

Yesenia smiled as the cub turned to follow after Neptune. "Well, I certainly will be welcome to a place to stay," she said, starting off. Then she paused and looked behind her. "Are you coming, Bellatrix?"

[Zayden]

Zayden (I can feel my power rising! I will destory all!)

Zayden just sits and watches calm as can be, but then something stirred inside him his fur bristled, claws extened fully, teeth bared, then he let out a loud roar and snarled "I challange the leader of this place! If I win I rule these lands and you leave but if I lose I will leave. Feel free to have three against me." Zayden stared eyes blazing with insanity and.......POWER. 'All shall be defeated by you my darling.'

[Bellatrix]

Bellatrix's fur stood on end. "Not now you fool." She hissed at the male lion, "This setting is not appropriate for such a challenge; wait until day break." Her eyes glared, she'd promised herself that she wouldn't stay the night, but her body backed up towards the cub in a protective gesture. She glanced at Neptune quickly, her heart hammering, she hated how small she was in that moment. Motherly instince was in full force. If anyone were to harm Bo she'd kill them, he was just a babe, god only knows how much fighting skill he has. She arched her back and got ready to pounce should a need arise.

[Bhu]

My paws froze as I heard the venom in the unfamiliar male's voice. I quickly spun to face him, pausing my action of following Neptune. But I couldn't see the dangerous lion, and I was quick to note why. The female, Bellatrix, was sheilding me with her own bulk. Oh please don't do this, ma'am. If the cat wants a sacrafice in order to keep quiet for the evening, let me be that morsel. I took a deep breath and stepped sideways, glaring at the lion. Beneath my ice cold gaze was a deep fear, but I held my breath to keep it hidden. "Sir, I suggest you stand down. A single tiger has the strength to tear your mane from your skull with a single yank. Are you really such a fool to challenge three?" I knew what gave me the ability to take the risk for these cats; guilt. I felt I owed them my life in the least. I had moved forward as I spoke, putting myself only a single leap from the crazed lion. One pounce, and I'd die. I was a snow leopard cub, afterall.

Neptune halted as soon as he heard a voice call after him. He spun around, the lion had challenged him. Neptune took a few steps closer... Poor Bo was about to see Neptune's evil side. Neptune waited until Bellatrix finished talking. "You DARE challenge me in my own lands?!" He roared. His ears darted against his skull. He wrinkled his nose. "You pathetic lion! You will die if you go up against me! And two other tigers! You will ****ing die!" He screeched at the lion.

Neptune looked at Bo, and walked in front of Bellatrix and Bo. "Get out of here before I drink your blood." He snarled at the small lion. The lion would die if he went up against Neptune alone.
